Drill & Blast Design in Surpac

This course covers the Surpac drill and blast workflow for open pits and quarries. You learn the terminology and the blast design defaults, design rectangular blast patterns with manual and automatic burden and spacing, and build firing sequences graphically or from templates. You then charge holes and tie in diagonal, V and custom firing patterns through the blast database, create blast boundaries and blast solids, generate summary and work order reports, and design presplit holes along segments and straight lines.
