Contact supportDo I need to already own the software to take a VikadLearn course?+
No, every course ships with sample datasets and a free-trial installation guide for the software it covers. You do not need a paid Surpac, Micromine, or Datamine licence to complete the coursework and earn the certificate.
How long do I have access to a course after purchase?+
A course or bundle purchase is a monthly subscription, not a one-time lifetime purchase — access continues for as long as it's active. If a payment is missed, access continues through a short grace period, then pauses until billing resumes. Team/org-provided seats work differently: access follows your organization's own standing, not your individual billing.
Are the certificates recognised in industry?+
Certificates are issued by Vikad Mining Solutions and carry a verifiable code. They are increasingly recognised by West African mining operators and consulting firms, and we're actively working with professional bodies to formalise accreditation.
Can I download videos for offline viewing?+
No. To protect instructors' content, videos stream with dynamic learner watermarking and cannot be downloaded. Downloadable resources (worksheets, sample datasets, cheat sheets) are attached to each lesson.
What payment methods do you accept?+
In Ghana we support Mobile Money (MTN, Vodafone, AirtelTigo) via Moolre, plus Visa and Mastercard via Paystack. International learners can pay by card. Corporate teams can request invoicing.
How do I become an instructor?+
Apply through the Teach on VikadLearn page. Applications are reviewed by Vikad Mining Solutions and prioritise practising professionals with production experience in the software they want to teach.
I forgot my password. What do I do?+
Use the 'Forgot password' link on the sign-in page. If you don't receive the reset email, check your spam folder and add hello@vikadlearn.com to your contacts.
What's your refund policy?+
A purchase (course, bundle, or path) is eligible for a full refund if it's within 7 days of purchase and less than 25% complete. For a bundle or path, every course inside it must meet both conditions. Approved refunds return the full amount to your original payment method and remove access immediately.
How does pricing work for teams?+
Teams buy seats through one of our pricing tiers, priced per seat and billed monthly, with a bigger discount at higher tiers. An org admin picks the tier that fits their headcount, then assigns courses to team members from within that plan. Access for team members follows the organization's own standing, not individual billing.
Can I message my course instructor?+
Yes. From the Messages tab, start a new conversation and choose 'A course instructor' — this works for any course you're enrolled in and connects you directly with the instructor teaching it.
What are live sessions?+
Some instructors (or organizations, for their own team) host real-time video classes for a course's enrolled learners, either in our built-in player or via their own Google Meet/Teams link. These are separate from the pre-recorded lesson videos — a 'Join now' banner appears on the course when one is starting or already live.
How do instructor payouts work?+
Payouts are tracked in your Earnings page. In the current phase, they're issued manually on a monthly cycle: you submit a request for the months you're owed, and a platform admin reviews and sends it. Automated payouts aren't live yet.
Can I bundle multiple courses for a discount?+
Yes. Pick any courses from the catalog into a bundle and check out once — the discount grows automatically with how many you add (4 courses = 4% off, 7 = 7% off, and so on).
